Campsite.bio has an MCP connector, which lets Claude (and other AI apps that support MCP) read and update your Campsite.bio profiles on your behalf. Once connected you can ask Claude things like "list my Campsite profiles", "add a link to my bio for the new episode", or "how many clicks did my profile get this week".
Connect from Claude (claude.ai or the Claude desktop app)
1. In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
2. Give it a name (for example "Campsite"), enter https://app.campsite.bio/mcp as the URL, leave the advanced settings empty, and click Add.
3. Click Connect. You will be sent to Campsite.bio to log in (if you are not already) and to approve access. The page shows which profiles Claude will be able to work with.
4. Click Allow. Claude confirms the connection and takes you back.
On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector once for the organization; each person then connects their own Campsite.bio account when they first use it.
What Claude can do once connected
Read: list the profiles you manage, view a profile's title, bio and links, and pull view and click stats (lifetime, last 7 days, last 30 days, or a custom range).
Write: add, edit, reorder and remove links, and update a profile's title, bio and location.
Claude works across every profile you have access to, including profiles in an organization workspace you belong to. It can only do what your own account is allowed to do on each profile. It cannot change your email or password, manage billing, or delete your account.
Tool permissions in Claude
In the connector's settings Claude lists the Campsite.bio tools in two groups, Read-only tools and Write/delete tools. Both are set to Needs approval by default, so Claude asks you before each action. You can allow the read-only group to run without asking and keep approvals on for anything that changes a profile.
Other MCP clients
The connector uses the standard MCP protocol, so it also works with other apps that support remote MCP servers with sign-in, such as ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. Add the same URL, https://app.campsite.bio/mcp, and sign in when prompted.
Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http campsite https://app.campsite.bio/mcp, then authenticate when prompted.
If your client cannot run the sign-in flow, contact support and we can issue an API token for your account to use instead.
Disconnecting
Remove the connector in Claude's settings. Changing your Campsite.bio password also disconnects every connected app.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't reach the MCP server" in Claude: check the URL is exactly https://app.campsite.bio/mcp, then remove the connector and add it again.
"This request has expired" on the Campsite.bio page: the approval link is valid for 10 minutes. Go back to Claude and click Connect again.
Claude says it does not have permission to edit a profile: you are a collaborator on that profile without that permission. Ask the profile owner to update your access under Profile settings, Access.
