What we'll cover in this support article:

What is a feed?

Our feed link lets you connect with different platforms and keep your links up-to-date auto-magically. We'll continue to look at the source, like a Youtube channel, and show the latest items that we can find. If you publish a new video on your Youtube channel or add a new blog post to your WordPress blog, we'll add it right to your profile.

Supported Platforms

  • Youtube - Channels and Playlists

  • WordPress

  • Blogger

  • Medium

  • Shopify Blog

  • Squarespace

  • Tumblr

  • Wix

How to use a feed link

Feed links are a great way to keep your profile content up-to-date without entering new content yourself. Follow these few rules to get the most out of a feed link:

  • Always add a title to your feed link to provide context.

  • If you're showing more than five links, select the stacked layout. It will keep your other links from getting lost.

Where do the images come from?

For most feed sources, images are generated using the open graph image specified by your blog page (the same way Facebook grabs images). We get Youtube images directly from your videos. We then run them through a content-aware, machine-learning algorithm to get the best crop.

Adding a feed link

  1. Go to your admin page.

  2. Click the "Explore Links" button and select "Feed"

  3. Set up your feed by selecting the source. Select "Finish Setup" once you've entered the correct details.

  4. After setup, you can add a title to your feed links, or change the number of items you'd like to show up.

  5. Once you're all done, make sure to enable your feed!

  6. Now you've got a link that will auto-update. Sit back and relax.

Troubleshooting

It can't find my feed source during the setup.

We'll do our best to locate your feed based on the URL you've provided to us. Make sure you've selected the correct source. For example, if you have a WordPress blog, make sure you've selected WordPress as a source and provided the correct URL to it. If your blog isn't located at the root level of your domain, make sure you've specified that in your URL (ex. https://mydomain.com/blog/ or https://blog.mydomain.com)

How do I change my links feed source?

Once your feed is set up, the source cannot be changed. You'll have to create a new feed link.

My feed is not being updated.

We look for updates on your feed every few minutes. If it's been longer than 5-10 minutes since you've published something new, please reach out to us.
