How to set up Google Tag Manager
How to set up Google Tag Manager
Updated over a week ago

Make sure you're signed up for Campsite Pro to use the Google Integrations features.

Google Tag Manager is a tag management system (TMS) that allows you to quickly and easily update measurement codes and related code fragments collectively known as tags on your website or mobile app.

If you don't have a GTM account, please head here to set one up. We recommend creating a new container for your Campsite.bio profile. Once that is done, return here for the next step.

Getting Your Container ID

What Campsite.bio needs is your container ID (ex. GTM-XXXXXX).

  1. In Tag Manager, click Workspace.

  2. Near the top of the window, find your container ID, formatted as "GTM-XXXXXX".

  3. Highlight and copy the container ID.

  4. Paste the ID on the Campsite.bio settings page in the Integrations section.

  5. You're all set! You can go ahead and set up the tags you'd like in your Google Tag Manager container.
