Adding a Facebook Pixel

Power up your profile with Facebook marketing.

Make sure you're signed up for Campsite Pro to use the tracking pixel features.

What is the Facebook pixel?

The Facebook pixel is a piece of code that you embed in your website. It tracks conversions from Facebook ads, optimizes ads based on the collected data, helps build targeted audiences for ads in the future, and lets you remarket to people who have taken actions on your site.

It works by placing and triggering cookies to track users as they interact with your website.

Setting it up on Campsite.bio

First, make sure you've created a Facebook pixel. What Campsite needs is the Pixel ID.

  1. In the "Facebook Pixel" section, select "Get Started." Name and create your Pixel.

  2. Select "Email instructions to a developer"

  3. Paste in the Pixel ID on your settings page under "Analytics"

  4. You're all set!

Events

Once the pixel has been set, it will start tracking events for you on your Campsite page. We track every time your profile is visited, every time a button is clicked (custom linkClick event), and every time an opt-in form is submitted (Lead event).
