Make sure you're signed up for Campsite Pro to use the tracking pixel features.

The Pinterest tag is a piece of code that you add to your website which lets Pinterest track visitors to your site as well as the actions they take on your site after seeing your Pinterest ad.

First, make sure you have a Pinterest business account.

You'll start the process of installing your tag from the Conversions page of Ads Manager. What Campsite needs is the Tag ID.

  1. Open your Pinterest business hub

  2. Select Ads > Conversions in the menu

  3. When setting up your Tag, the Tag ID will be in the top right corner

  4. Paste in the Tag ID on your settings page under "Analytics"

  5. You're all set!

Events

Once the tag has been set, it will start tracking events for you on your Campsite page. We track every time your profile is visited, every time a button is clicked, and every time an opt-in form is submitted. Clicks and opt-in forms are tracked as lead events.
