Managing DNS entries on a root/apex domain

Learn more about adding/editing DNS settings on your apex domain

Once you've setup an APEX/root domain with Campsite.bio, you've given us control of your DNS settings. That means if you need to enter new DNS records, like an A, CNAME, MX, or other, you can do it within your profile settings.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: This feature is only available if the custom domain you've set up is a root domain.

Supported record types:

  • A - IPv4 address

  • AAAA - IPv6 address

  • CNAME

  • MX

How to add a new record

  1. Open the Urls page of your profile

  2. Scroll down to the DNS settings section

  3. Click the "Add new record" button and enter your DNS record details

  4. Click "Save" to add the record

How to delete a record

  1. Open the Urls page of your profile

  2. Scroll down to the DNS settings section

  3. Click the three dots on the end of an existing record. Then select "Delete" to remove it.
