About Organization Invitations

When you invite someone to join your organization, the person receives and email with an invitation link. To join, the user clicks the invitation link and accepts.

๐Ÿ’ก Tip: Only owners can invite users to join an organization.

To send an invite, you must have an empty member seat available on your subscription. If you don't have an extra seat, you'll first have to modify your subscription and add an extra seat.

If the invitee doesn't accept the invitation within seven days, the pending invitiation will expire automatically.

Different types of members

There are owners, members, and outside collaborator roles in an organization. To learn more about roles in an organization, click here.

Inviting a user to join your organization

  1. Select your account in the bottom right corner, then click Organizations.

  2. Click the name of your organization.

  3. Under your organization, select People.

  4. Click Add Member.

  5. Enter the email address of the user you'd like to invite.

  6. Select the role this user will have in your organization.

  7. Click Invite.

  8. The invited person will receive an email inviting them to join the organization. They will need to accept the invitiation before becoming a member of the organization. You can cancel the invitiation at any time before the user accepts.

Removing a member

If members of your organization no longer require access to any of your profiles, you can remove them from the organization.

Note: The paid member seat does not automatically downgrade. To pay for fewer licenses after removing users from your organization, you'll have to modify your subscription after removing the members.

Revoking the user's membership

  2. Click the name of your organization

  3. Under your organization, select People.

  4. Select the menu next to the user you'd like to remove, then select Remove from org.
